Tzu-Yu Chen
Tzu-Yu (Jill) Chen obtained her B.S. in Chemistry from National Taiwan University in 2018, where she conducted undergraduate research under the guidance of Professor Ken-Tsung (Ken) Wong. She earned her Ph.D. in 2023 at North Carolina State University under the mentorship of Professor Wei-chen Chang and is currently continuing her research as a postdoctoral associate at the same institution. Her research focuses on the mechanistic investigation of novel enzymatic transformations in natural product biosynthetic pathways. By integrating biochemical, structural, and spectroscopic approaches, she aims to elucidate how nature orchestrates complex chemical reactions, with particular interest in unusual enzyme chemistry and catalytic mechanisms.
