Hongzhe Sun
Hongzhe Sun is a Norman & Cecilia Yip Professor in Bioinorganic Chemistry at the University of Hong Kong. His research interests lie in metallobiology and inorganic chemical biology, especially on metals in biology and medicine. He has applied metallomics/ metalloproteomics approaches to medicinal and bioinorganic chemistry to uncover potential metal–protein interactions on a proteome-wide scale. He was the recipient of the 2023 Dalton Horizon Prize (RSC). Prof. Sun is the president of SBIC.
