Osami Shoji
Osami Shoji received his BSc (1997), MSc (1999), and PhD (2002) in polymer chemistry from Chiba University under the direction of Prof. Takayuki Nakahira. He then joined Prof. Yoshiaki Kobuke at NAIST as a postdoctoral fellow, whereafter he joined Prof. Yoshihito Watanabe as a postdoctoral fellow at Nagoya University in 2005 and selected as a JSPS postdoctoral fellow in 2006. He was appointed assistant professor in 2008, promoted to associate professor in 2013, and anointed full professor in 2019 at the Graduate School of Science, Nagoya University. His research interests include construction and characterisation of artificial metalloproteins.
