Kiyoung Park
Kiyoung Park is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at KAIST. Her research aims to elucidate the reaction mechanisms and intermediates of inorganic and organometallic complexes, with a focus on excited-state reactivity and small-molecule activation. She employs a range of spectroscopic techniques, including magnetic circular dichroism (MCD), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), and resonance Raman spectroscopy. Before joining the faculty at KAIST, she received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Brunold, and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research with Prof. Edward Solomon at Stanford University from 2010 to 2014.
