Yane-Shih Wang
Dr. Yane-Shih Wang is an assistant research fellow and assistant professor at the Institute of Biological Chemistry at Academia Sinica, Taiwan. I received my Ph.D. in Chemistry (Wenshe Liu Lab) from Texas A&M University. Then, I completed postdoctoral training at Professor Dieter Söll Lab at the Department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, Yale University, before joining the faculty in my current position at Academia Sinica, Taiwan. My research centers around developing a novel metalloenzyme for a therapeutic protein modification site-specifically and rational design of the genetic code expansion toolkit for in vivo encoding of D-amino acids and designing heterochiral therapeutic proteins.
